NEWS RELEASE
Contact: Lieutenant Clint Simpson
For Release July 1, 2014

On June 26, 2014, Eden Jewelry located at 234 E. Meadow Road contacted the Eden Police Department to file a report of Fraud and Larceny.  Eden Jewelry advised that two black females entered the store and requested to look at two rings in the display case.  The salesperson handed the two female one oval past, present future ring and one round past, present future ring, then them to look at.  The female suspects gave the rings back to the salesperson and immediately walked out of the store.

As the salesperson was putting the rings back in the display case she noticed that the rings were not the same rings given to the customer.  Upon inspection of the price tags on the rings, the sales person noticed the price tags had been switched to a cheaper ring form the Eden Jewelry Store in Martinsville.

The Eden Police Department is requesting assistance identifying the two female suspects in the photos below.
