The Eden Police Department is currently investigating counterfeit
checks that were passed at the Eden J Mart convenience stores. On September 24,
2013 and October 1, 2013 three unidentified black male suspect(s) cashed
multiple counterfeit checks at all three J Mart Stores in Eden. The suspects
presented the checks as payroll checks from various local businesses. It
appears the suspects were operating a silver or white in color Dodge Charger at
the time of the incidents.
The Eden Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance
identifying the suspects in the photographs.
Anyone having information concerning the suspect(s) in this case is
asked to call Detective David Lamberth at Eden Police Department at
