Armed Robbery- Public Assistance Requested to Identify

On Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at approximately 11:12am, the Eden Police Department responded to 292 E. Aiken Road, Goraya’s Best Stop, in reference to an armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the clerk and began the investigation.  Detective’s learned that two black male suspects entered the store; one subject was armed with a handgun.  The two suspects left the store with an undisclosed amount of U.S Currency.
Detectives with the Eden Police Department are attempting to identify the two suspects in the photographs obtained from the surveillance system.  Both suspects attempted to hold a white towel or shirt over their face during the robbery. 

Suspect #1

Tall black male, light complexion wearing camouflage pants, a black t-shirt and a white ball cap with blue or black bill. Suspect #1 was armed with a black in color semiautomatic handgun.

Suspect #2

Black male, medium complexion, shoulder length dreadlocks, wearing black shoes, and black t-shirt and red shorts.

The Eden Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance identifying the suspects involved in the armed robbery.  Anyone having information concerning the identity of either of the male suspects in the photographs is asked to contact Detective Brian Disher at the Eden Police Departments Criminal Investigative Unit at 336-623-9240 8am-5pm; 336-623-9755 (24hrs) or Rockingham County Crime Stoppers at 336-349-9683.
