On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, Eden Police Department detectives
received new information concerning the case listed below. Investigators with the Eden Police Department
began the investigation immediately.
On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, as a result of a thorough
investigation and consultation with Rockingham County District Attorney Craig
Blitzer, Eden Police Department detectives arrested Donnie Ray Carter (55) of
Eden. Donnie Carter was charged with the
following:
(2) Counts of Indecent Liberties with a Minor (Felony)
(1) Count of Patronizing a Prostitute (Felony) Donnie Carter was transported to the Eden Magistrates Office where he was placed under a $5 million dollar secured bond. Carter was transported to the Rockingham County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on December 10, 2015.

As a result of this update, media outlets have requested the status of
our investigation concerning Mickey Dale Snow.
Mickey Snow was taken into custody by Thai police in Bangkok, Thailand,
on November 3, 2015 on a federal arrest warrant for “Unlawful Flight to Avoid
Prosecution.” He is being held in an immigration detention facility and
will be extradited to North Carolina in the coming weeks.
